The helmet’s shell construction utilizes advanced molding with a multi-composite lay-up: 1) 3K carbon high-density outer layer for structural efficiency, 2) uni-directional carbon composite layer for radial rigidity with controlled shell deflection, and 3) aramid fiber layer for penetration resistance; all layers are epoxy-resin bonded to stabilize the laminate and interface with a 4-density EPS liner.
Unique shell lay-up process pairs the composite shell to a 4-density EPS impact liner, with each density mapped to manage linear and oblique load paths; smooth, channel-free outer profile minimizes external load points; size-specific shells (S, M, L, XL) align with sizes XS–XXL to balance mass and structural integrity; approximate weight: 1260 g (ECE, size M), 1310 g with side pads, 1370 g with visor extension.
