Nucleon PLASMA Technology
Alpinestars' Nucleon PLASMA Technology uses a bio-based viscoelastic impact-absorbing compound with no less than 25% bio-based content, molded into a precision-engineered geometry for effective impact protection. The PLASMA material dissipates impact energy and significantly reduces transmitted forces through controlled material response. Its low-profile geometry is developed to compress and extend with movement, while the channeled, highly perforated design supports airflow, excellent breathability, and core cooling.

Abrasion-resistant front panel
A highly abrasion-resistant textile front panel and strategically positioned ripstop fabric reinforcements provide abrasion resistance and added durability.

Removable Nucleon PLASMA insert
The Nucleon PLASMA insert is removable for ease of washing.

Breathable stretch mesh
The knee protector is constructed from breathable stretch mesh for a highly flexible, lightweight structure and a comfortable, snug fit.

Pre-curved ergonomic design
The pre-curved, ergonomic design optimizes performance in various riding positions, while contoured PLASMA protector inserts provide a compressed, anatomical fit.

Slip-on retention system
The ergonomic, time-saving slip-on design features elasticated silicone-printed hems to prevent slippage and help keep the knee protectors securely in position when riding, with a central compression band to prevent slippage.
