• The extremely stable, slim-design four-point hinge system perfectly follows the articulation of the knee while the extension stops, which are available in a range from 0 to 30 degrees, assist in setting the brace to the desired maximum opening angle.
• The stainless-steel bushings in the four-point hinge system have an anti-oxidation treatment.

The Nucleon PLASMA knee protector is encased in a hybrid frame constructed from a flexible composite over-injected on a high-performance polymer blend, providing superb frame rigidity while retaining flexibility at the upper and lower strap areas.

Nucleon PLASMA protector construction
The Nucleon PLASMA element is constructed from a bio-based viscoelastic impact-absorbing compound containing no less than 25% bio-based content and molded into a precision-engineered geometry. The PLASMA material dissipates impact energy and significantly reduces transmitted forces through controlled material response, while the low-profile PLASMA geometry compresses and extends with movement and supports airflow through its channeled, highly perforated design.

Replaceable triple-segmented knee cups
The replaceable triple-segmented knee cups are constructed with a polyurethane outer shell backed with a Nucleon PLASMA protector for an optimum blend of impact protection, flexibility, and scratch resistance.

Replaceable thermoformed padding
Soft-touch thermoformed padding ensures the highest levels of rider comfort while keeping the knee brace securely in position and is replaceable as a spare part.

Replaceable condyle padding
Soft-touch thermoformed condyle padding is available in different thicknesses for a customized fit and is replaceable as a spare part.

Non-slip-backed straps
Four individual straps are backed with a non-slip material to keep the knee brace securely in position while riding.

High tensile strength buckles
The high tensile strength buckles are robust while remaining flexible for easy strapping and adaptivity. The central buckles lock easily into the closed position using a keyhole snapping system, and the inner-knee central buckles are mounted inside the frames to avoid contact with the bike.
